THE TEAM
Our founder and facilitators have decades of experience in administering certified domestic violence and anger management classes, and have worked with thousands of people, generating outstanding results that can be seen in the lives of our program participants.
THE PROGRAM
You are welcome to register for our classes from any county or city.
We are a certified Batterers’ Intervention program in Contra Costa County and Solano County in the greater Bay Area and Sacramento regions of Northern California, with team members available to serve participants from the entire United States.
PRICING & POLICIES
- A onetime non-refundable fee of $40 for program registration and $35 for class materials (book & binder) will be charged online at time of registration. A student ID number and proof of enrollment form will be generated once registration is completed.
- The domestic violence intervention course is a mandatory 52-weeks, unless you have a court order or referral of DV/Anger Management classes of 8, 16, 24 or 32 weeks.
- Classes can be paid a month in advance or prior to each class weekly. Class fees start at $25 per session. Fees can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or money card.
- Students must be aware that attendance is mandatory and a 4th unexcused absence or two “no-shows” will subject the student to immediate termination. (Students which are terminated are required to obtain a new referral from probation or parole and the $40 registration will be required at the time of reregistration).
- Confidentiality – All students are required to sign a confidentiality policy and a violation of the policy is automatic grounds for termination.
- Please come to each class prepared with all required materials (Facilitator’s Notes, Attendance Log Sheet, Power & Control Wheel, Equality Wheel, & Domestic Violence Definitions), which are linked here and will be emailed to you upon Enrollment. Failure to meet such requirements may result in you being sent home and marked absent.
- Students are encouraged to pay special attention to our Zoom policy. Students must practice appropriate etiquette while on Zoom. Students are further encouraged to test their technology capabilities prior to the start of class. Students not able to participate on Zoom classes because of technical issues will be removed from Zoom and not allowed to participate in the respective class.
- Despite the marijuana laws in the State of California, students are not allowed to appear at class or on Zoom under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Students in need of our “sliding scale” rates must contact our main office to review your eligibility. <
- All students are required to furnish the program full information pertaining to the victim in their case. Additionally, the full name and e-mail of your Probation Officer, Parole Agent, Public Defender or Private Attorney, Social Worker or Mediator must be provided at time of registration.
